MangMap Phase 2 officially accredited by SCO France!

At the SCO France Congress held on 20 March 2025 at the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs in Paris, our MangMap Phase 2 project was officially accredited by the Space Climate Observatory (SCO)!

A project recognised for its impact and ambition

  • The assessment committee highlighted
  • The solid and relevant continuity with Phase 1
  • The already convincing results at our 5 pilot sites
  • Our ambitious but structured approach to scaling up
  • The extension of our services to new areas
  • Increased training and support for end-users

Technological innovation to serve ecosystems

The addition of new tools, in particular mangrove degradation alerts, has been recognised as ‘a promising technological advance for the preservation of these essential ecosystems’.

This label confirms that MangMap is now considered ‘a strategic project aligned with the SCO's priorities for preserving coastal ecosystems.’

Concrete financial support

We are also pleased to announce that the ad hoc Committee for SCO funding by CNES, which met on 6 March 2025, has granted financial support to our project. This essential contribution will enable us to speed up the development and deployment of our solutions.

This recognition encourages us to continue our efforts to develop ever more effective solutions for monitoring, protecting and restoring these precious ecosystems.
